Treatex® Hardwax Oil Traditional preserves and enhances the appearance of all types of internal wood such as flooring, worktops, stairs, furniture, and internal joinery. Treatex® Hardwax Oil Traditional is manufactured on a base of natural sustainable raw materials including: linseed oil, sunflower oil, jojoba oil, beeswax, carnauba wax and candelilla wax. Available in clear matt, satin, gloss and in a range of colours.
One coat of Treatex® Traditional Colours should be brushed on to unfinished timbers and any excess should be clothed off. Finish with two coats of Treatex® Hardwax Oil Traditional Clear.
Treatex® hardener is a chemical additive that can be used in commercial locations to increase surface hardness by at least 10% by mixing 10% hardener to Treatex® Hardwax oil. Can be used in both coats or just top coat if required.
Use Treatex® Isoparaffin when treating oily/dense timbers e.g. Iroko, Ipe, Teak, Jarrah, Merbau etc. Treatex® Isoparaffin is used to thin Treatex® Hardwax Oil Traditional so that it can properly penetrate into oily and dense timbers. For the first coat mix approximately 10% Treatex® Isoparaffin with Treatex® Hardwax Oil Traditional.
